The World’s Most Wonderful Bookstore Will Host Cornelia’s First Local Book Event for MISSING

Bookman’s Alley in Evanston is the most amazing used book store you will ever see.

Owner Roger Carlson of Bookman’s Alley has been listening to Cornelia talk about her memoir, MISSING, for at least ten years as she was writing it.  He promised to host a book signing if they both lived long enough, and the day has come! (almost!) Sunday, December 5, 2010, at 6 p.m. is the time for a reading and book signing.  Come early and enjoy browsing Roger’s fantastic collection of books and his many rooms full of wonderful things.  Roger Carlson of Bookman’s Alley.

Did you ever read “The Old Curiosity Shop”?

This is Roger in his George Clooney look alike early days.  Wow!
Bookman’s Alley is at 1721 Sherman Avenue in Evanston, Illinois—you have to enter the shop by going down the alley between Design Within Reach and Saville Florists.
